On 1 June Andr\u00e9 Heim was appointed new managing director of the Seaports of Lower Saxony. He replaces Timo Sch\u00f6n, who left the port marketing company at his own request on 31 May. Heim had been responsible for marketing and communications at Seaports since November 2013, working closely with the management. Prior to that, he worked for five years at the JadeWeserPort implementation company in Wilhelmshaven as marketing manager. \u201cI am looking forward to this new challenge and to the confidence placed in me by the supervisory board,\u201d says Heim. \u201cTogether with the Seaports team, I aim to uphold the interests of our nine seaports in Lower Saxony. A new focus will be the digital development of the Seaports of Lower Saxony umbrella brand for the worldwide marketing of the seaports.\u201d<\/p>\n
