The supervisory board of Hapag-Lloyd has extended the contract of Joachim Schlotfeldt, executive board member responsible for personnel and purchasing, until 31 March 2023. Schlotfeldt began his career with Hapag-Lloyd in 1979. In the course of his career, he took on assignments in Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Spain and Portugal. He then became managing director responsible for the Asia region and subsequently for the Europe region.
