In June repair work was unexpectedly required for the inland gate of the Brake lock. Despite regular maintenance and service work, the gear unit that moves the inner gate up and down was showing signs of wear. The gate had to be moved into the niche, so for one week lock traffic through the outer gate was limited. To ensure better visibility, these dock lockings, which can be done twice a day for one hour with the tide, were carried out by NPorts during daylight hours.<\/p>\n
