In November, the 500th nacelle for an offshore wind turbine was completed at Siemens Gamesa in Cuxhaven. This marked an important milestone for the plant, which opened in 2017 and began regular operations in 2018. Cuxhaven is part of the Siemens Gamesa production network together with the rotor blade production facility in Hull (UK) and the installation port in Esbjerg (Denmark).
