Cuxhaven in Lower Saxony and Brunsb\u00fcttel in Schleswig-Holstein have been connected by the Elbe once more since March. This connection is facilitated by the new Greenferry I, which requires no more than one hour for the 32 kilometre route and alternates every three hours daily. The 130 metre long LNG ferry has room for 150 cars, 28 lorries and 600 people. \u201cThe ferry connection will palpably reduce road traffic,\u201d said Lower Saxony\u2019s Minister for Transportation Bernd Althusmann shortly after the ferry began operating.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CUXHAVEN.
