Maintenance and technical revisions have been conducted at the gate of the Kaiserschleuse\u2019s inner end over the past weeks. More than 2,200 tonnes of heavy sluice gate have been dismantled and brought to the Lloyd yard by a floating crane. The 80 tonnes of heavy undercarriages were structurally adapted to changes in the flood gate. After the renovation, the gate was returned to the Kaiserschleuse and is now attached to the moor post as an auxiliary gate.
