As a result, the S\u00fcdwestfalen container terminal and German rail subsidiary TFG Transfracht introduced <strong>a solution in March, which transported dead wood and cuttings by rail from Siegen-Wittgenstein to JadeWeserPort,<\/strong> from where the wood is exported by ship. Before the bridge closed, lorries took the storm-damaged timber from the region to terminals in the Ruhr region, from where it was transported further.
