Firstly, the <strong>\u201c16th Bremen Shipping Congress\u201d<\/strong> took place at its new location \u2013 City University of Applied Sciences (HSB) \u2013 under the theme of \u201cDevelopments, Opportunities and Prospects of Maritime Human Resources Management\u201d. Afterwards, Bremen and Bremerhaven celebrated <strong>German Shipping Day<\/strong> with this year\u2019s slogan \u201cSustainable Shipping: Together, Clear, Clean!\u201d Bremen\u2019s port senator Dr Claudia Schilling (photo) was delighted that the event, under the patronage of President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, enabled this city on the River Weser to show its great maritime heart.
