According to the \u201cProject Logistics Monitor\u201d, 2022 was better than the previous year for nearly 75 per cent of the project logistics experts surveyed by BHV. And nearly half of them expect the market to continue growing in 2023. \u201cBut the shortage of skilled staff, which is the issue most often mentioned by survey participants, is now in full force in project logistics,\u201d said Dr Patric Drewes (l), executive member of the BHV management board. He warned against excessive optimism. At the same time, the \u201cQuick survey\u201d, completed by BHV member companies, revealed that cost pressure and the shortage of skilled staff now have the largest impact on companies in Bremen\u2019s logistics industry, which is largely shaped by the maritime sector. \u201c75 per cent of survey participants complain about general price hikes and the associated cost pressure. Nevertheless, business prospects continue to be positive,\u201d added Werner P\u00f6ser (r), who is also an executive member of the BHV board.
