This year, the meeting was held in the Stadeum in Stade. Andr\u00e9 Heim, Managing Director of Seaports of Niedersachsen, officially opened the event and S\u00f6nke Hartief, Mayor of Stade, welcomed the guests before handing over to Olaf Lies, Lower Saxony\u2019s Minister for Economic Affairs, Transport, Construction and Digitalisation, who gave a keynote speech, highlighting the possibilities of the state\u2019s seaports regarding wind energy. Afterwards, Oliver Detje (DVV Media Group) hosted a gripping panel debate entitled \u201cLower Saxony\u2019s Seaports \u2013 for the Energy World of Tomorrow\u201d. The panel included Olaf Lies, Dr Neldes Hovestad (Dow Deutschland), Michael de Reese (Nieders\u00e4chsische Hafenvertretung e.V.), Dr Johann Killinger (Hanseatic Energy Hub), Holger B\u00e4r (German Chemical Industry Association \u2013 North) and Dr Dennis Kruse (Deutsche WindGuard).
