The NPorts team in Cuxhaven, which is responsible for the Cuxhaven and Stade sites, is now on to its next project. Around eight million euros has been allocated for maintaining and renovating the existing port facilities. Some 71 million euros will be invested in new port structures and 20 million euros in berths 5 to 7. Construction of the new berths will kick off in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled about the German government\u2019s financial decision to provide funding for a third of the construction costs.\u201d The state agreed to the project early on with 100 million euros in state funds. \u201cThat means the construction phase is fast approaching,\u201d explained NPorts Managing Director Holger Banik. <\/p>\n<p>Credits: NPorts[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CUXHAVEN\/STADE.
