The goal is to provide container ships with shore-side electricity at all four sites by 2030. These four ports will receive an 18.8 million euro subsidy for their projects from the EU as part of the EU \u201cConnecting Europe Facilities\u201d fund, of which more than five million euros will be going to Bremerhaven. \u201cThis fits in perfectly with our ambitious land-based power expansion targets. In Bremerhaven, the plans for two new, mobile and one fixed system at the container quay and one each at the cruise terminal and the car port are currently being implemented.
