Despite a drop in vehicle volumes compared to the previous year, turnover in the Automobile segment increased by 7.1 per cent to 687.5 million euros. In the Container division, the 50 per cent stake in EUROGATE resulted in an increase in earnings of twelve per cent to 61.2 million euros. The economic situation had a negative impact on sales and profits in the Contract division, which fell by 33.5 million to 535.6 million euros compared to the previous year. \u201cIt\u2019s important to be vigilant and recognise and exploit opportunities. This provides us with a chance to anticipate the pressure of change and adapt accordingly.
