During his review, Chairman Michael Vinnen referred to particularly informative meetings regarding ship financing, tonnage tax and the Tax Haven Prevention Act. At the same time, he also condemned the growing number of international conflicts which would deliberately threaten and endanger the \u201cpeaceful, merchant shipping trade and the lives of sailors during armed conflicts\u201d.
