EMDEN\/D\u00d6RPEN.<\/strong> On the initiative of CDU state parliament member Hartmut Moorkamp, the \u201cEmden-D\u00f6rpen Port Dialogue\u201d was launched in February. Representatives from both ports met with politicians and administrators in D\u00f6rpen. At the start of the event, Moorkamp praised the close cooperation that has existed along the Ems for more than 40 years: \u201cEmden and D\u00f6rpen are well connected by the East Frisian-Emsland waterway network.
