BREMERHAVEN. A new position paper from the port’s stakeholders and bremenports outlines how the \u00dcberseehafen can become CO\u2082-neutral by 2035. Based on extensive analyses \u2013 including a so-called “digital twin” of the port’s energy demand \u2013 the paper sketches concrete pathways and technical options for transitioning to a sustainable, emission-free energy supply. It consolidates findings from the major project “CO\u2082-Neutral \u00dcberseehafen ” presents areas of action for renewable energies, infrastructure, and decarbonization strategies, and thus provides guidance for the transformation process toward climate-friendly port operations.<\/p>\n
