The host of the on-site meeting was <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">NiedersachsenPorts<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"422\" data-end=\"615\">The discussion focused on the development of port infrastructure, the economic momentum of the offshore wind industry, and the strategic importance of Cuxhaven for energy and industrial policy.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"617\" data-end=\"943\">Minister-President Olaf Lies emphasized the strategic importance of Cuxhaven for Lower Saxony and Germany. The energy transition is not only a climate policy project, but equally an industrial policy project. This requires a clear course and reliable framework conditions. \u201cInvestments on this scale require trust,\u201d said Lies.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"945\" data-end=\"1164\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Hafenwirtschaftsgemeinschaft Cuxhaven<\/span><\/span> sees the location as a central building block of Germany\u2019s energy transition.
