Turnover amounted to 1.2 billion euros, 4.5 per cent below the previous year\u2019s figure. Commenting on the results at the annual press conference in late April, BLG CEO Matthias Magnor emphasised that the company had performed better than initially expected. Although EBIT fell to \u20ac87.2 million, it was still above budgeted figures and represented \u201ca very solid result in a thoroughly difficult market\u201d. According to the figures, BLG\u2019s three business divisions performed differently. The Container segment made a significant contribution to the overall result in 2025. The investment in Eurogate, accounted for using the equity method, generated a profit after tax of \u20ac56.6 million. Influenced by economic developments, structural change in the automotive industry and US tariffs, turnover in the Automotive division fell to \u20ac678 million (previous year: \u20ac687.5 million). However, earnings were still able to increase. In the Contract division, turnover fell from \u20ac535.6 million to \u20ac488.4 million.
