BERLIN<\/strong> The \u2018German Ports\u2019 Alliance made its public debut on 10 June 2026 at a high-profile event held at the Hamburg State Representation in Berlin. The new alliance comprises the eight German port infrastructure operators: bremenports, Brunsb\u00fcttel Ports, Duisport, Hamburg Port Authority, Port of Kiel, L\u00fcbeck Port Authority, Niedersachsen Ports and Rostock Port. The initiative is also supported by the Zentralverband der deutschen Seehafenbetriebe (ZDS). Together \u2013 against the backdrop of the energy crisis, global supply chains and changing security policy conditions \u2013 they aim to be recognised as a cornerstone of a sustainable infrastructure for the future and to work in unison to drive forward the key issues shaping the future of port development. According to the partners, there is consensus that the competitiveness and resilience of ports can only be secured in the long term through clear political direction and reliable financing structures.<\/p>\n
