BERNE<\/strong> The Fassmer shipyard has recently completed four new lifeboats for its client Princess Cruises, a subsidiary of the Carnival Corporation, and shipped them from Hamburg to the Caribbean on 14 October. The PLL 1099-type boats have a capacity of 150 passengers in the event of an emergency. They can also be used to carry 122 guests on tender services. In the Caribbean, the 11-metre-long and 5-metre-wide multi-purpose boats are to be deployed on board the cruise ship \u201cCoral Princess\u201d.
