WILHELMSHAVEN. The Wasserstraßen- und Schifffahrtsamt (WSA) Weser-Jade-Nordsee announced in March the successful completion of the major refurbishment and conversion of the sliding gate at the Wilhelmshaven sea lock.

BREMEN. At its recent AGM, the Bremen Freight Forwarders Association (VBSp) partially re-elected its executive committee. Ulrike Baum of Röhlig Logistics stood down and Andreas Niemeyer of the Dettmer Group was confirmed as a board member. New multi-purpose terminal planned for JadeWeserPort
WILHELMSHAVEN. Germany’s only deep-water port, JadeWeserPort, is set to be expanded with a new terminal. “It will be a multi-purpose terminal,” announced NPorts Managing Director Holger Banik at a press conference in March.
