BREMEN. Despite geopolitical crises, a weakening German economy and ongoing uncertainties in global trade, the BLG Logistics Group has closed its 2025 financial year on a stable note.
Combi Lift relies on Hilpert’s expertise

BREMEN. Combi Lift, an expert in project logistics and in transporting heavy goods, strengthened its management team early in 2022 by appointing Klaus Hilpert as managing director and company spokesman. Martin Harren, CEO and owner of the Harren & Partner Group, (Combi Lift is a member) said that Hilpert’s expertise and long-term experience in project forwarding will drive the further expansion of the logistics brand. Hilpert was previously Executive Vice President for Deugro, a project logistics company.

Extension of tonnage tax boosts wind energy
BERLIN/HAMBURG. The Offshore Wind Energy Foundation and the German Wind Energy Association (BWE) have expressly welcomed the plan by the Federal Government’s Coordinator for Maritime Economy and Tourism, Dr Christoph Ploß, to extend the tonnage tax to vessels in the offshore wind sector.

Bremerhaven sets an example for green shipping
BREMERHAVEN. Together with the Port of Antwerp and the South Korean Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Corporation, Bremerhaven took a step towards low-emission shipping in April. At the “International Green RoRo Shipping Corridor and Decarbonisation Workshop” in Bremerhaven, the partners issued a joint statement announcing the launch of a green shipping corridor.
