Freshly flushed into the storm surge season

03.04.2025

BREMERHAVEN. Many people have little enthusiasm for washing up, especially at night. A routine inspection had previously revealed that peat-like solidified silt had accumulated there. “In view of the storm surge season ahead of us, we wanted to ensure that the flood barrier would work in an emergency,” says Udo Skeraitis, team leader for plant operations at bremenports.
