Emden, 4th August 2021 | This year too, epas is fulfilling its training responsibility and is offering three young people the start of their professional lives. Since the beginning of this week, epas has been employing a total of eight trainees in the professions of “merchant for forwarding and logistics services” and “specialist for warehouse logistics”.
“In addition to the transfer of knowledge, we also focus on the individual support of the trainees,” says Mirja Schmidt, training officer at epas.

BREMEN. In its 2025 annual report, the Maritime Shipping Vocational Training Office (BBS) presented a differentiated, but overall stable, assessment of developments in maritime training in April 2026.
BREMERHAVEN. The “DigiWeser” project was officially launched in May 2026 with a kick-off meeting. The core of the initiative is the establishment of a shared digital platform as a testbed, enabling all key stakeholders to exchange information more effectively in future.

WILHELMSHAVEN. Uniper Hydrogen has launched an open season for the allocation of capacity at its planned hydrogen import terminal in Wilhelmshaven. This facility will enable the import of hydrogen via ammonia in future.
