OLDENBURG. The first half of 2020 saw an an eleven percent decline in maritime traffic for Lower Saxony’s nine seaports. The port group handled a total of 24 million tonnes. But the pandemic did not affect all the ports adversely. There were positive developments in Papenburg and Oldenburg and also in Stade, where a stable half-year result was achieved with 3.36 million tonnes. There was an increase of eleven percent compared to 3.03 million tonnes in the same period of the previous year.
J. MÜLLER: Successful end of apprenticeship project

MÜLLER announced: “The cameras have been switched off, the editing done – the short films for our ‘Lebenswelten’ training project are ready!” The project looks at the different cultural and national identities of staff, who all tell their own story. The project not only contributed towards promoting integration but also strengthened the commitment of the trainees,” said Antje Streicher, Human Resources Manager at J. Müller. Since then, the films have been shown during internal and public events as well as on J. MÜLLER social media channels.
