OSNABRUCK/BREMEN. The full-service provider Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is expanding its Bremen site and building what they describe as a “state-of-the-art digitised freight forwarding facility” in Ludwig-Erhard-Straße. Construction for the project started on November 17 during a ground-breaking ceremony on the previously undeveloped 40,000 square metre neighbouring plot to the current Hellmann site. The new building will have around 1,500 square meters of office space and 8,000 square meters of transhipment space and will be completed in the second half of 2021.
Car train is transporting 200 vehicles by rail
WILHELMSHAVEN. Mosolf Port Logistics & Services is using rail transport for the first time to move imported cars in Wilhelmshaven. At the Nordfrost seaport terminal, 200 vehicles from the Chinese manufacturer BYD were loaded at the end of May.
