Kick-off for BLG and Hyundai Glovis joint venture

CUXHAVEN. This year, NPorts is investing a total of €82.5 million in various infrastructure projects in Cuxhaven and Stade. A key focus of these measures is the construction of berths 5–7 in Cuxhaven.

BREMEN. Current geopolitical developments are having an impact. According to a survey conducted in April by the Bremen Freight Forwarders’ Association among its 150 member companies, trade with the US alone fell by 20 per cent last year – primarily due to punitive tariffs at US ports.

WILHELMSHAVEN. On 1 May 2026, Holger Banik will take over as managing director of the state-owned Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven JadeWeserPort-Marketing GmbH & Co. KG, succeeding Marc-Oliver Hauswald, who has led the company since August 2023.
