Lower Saxony’s seaports create new jobs

KIRCHHEIM UNTER TECK. In February, Mosolf Port Logistics & Services (MPLS) took over a terminal in the port of Ostend. It covers around 80,000 square metres with capacity for up to 3,000 vehicle parking spaces.

EMDEN/DÖRPEN. On the initiative of CDU state parliament member Hartmut Moorkamp, the “Emden-Dörpen Port Dialogue” was launched in February. Representatives from both ports met with politicians and administrators in Dörpen.

BREMERHAVEN. In February, EUROGATE and APM Terminals, a subsidiary of A.P. Moller–Maersk, announced that they were in advanced negotiations for a long-term partnership.
