Minister Tonne opens new BLG logistics site

AHLHORN. In December 2025, the new BLG LOGISTICS inland terminal in Ahlhorn was officially opened by Lower Saxony’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Transport and Construction, Grant Hendrik Tonne. Together with Thorsten Schmidtke, Mayor of the municipality of Großenkneten, BLG Group CEO Matthias Magnor and BLG COO Axel Krichel, he cut the ceremonial red ribbon. Customer operations at the site have been running successfully since July 2025. Currently, 22 employees, supported by a BLG project team, are working on further expanding the terminal. By the end of 2026, an inland terminal with storage capacity for up to 16,000 vehicles is to be built on around 35 hectares.
