NPorts receives ISO 50001 certification

OLDENBURG. NPorts successfully obtained ISO 50001 certification in December 2025. This internationally recognised standard for energy management systems officially confirms the port company’s commitment to sustainable and systematic energy management. The ISO 50001 certification, which is carried out through annual surveillance audits, certifies that energy flows are recorded in a structured manner, potential for efficiency improvements is identified and continuous improvements are implemented. ‘The award is a joint success for all employees. Their commitment and attention in their daily work make a decisive contribution to our efficient use of energy and exploitation of potential savings,’ emphasises NPorts Managing Director Holger Banik.
