25.02.2026

BREMERHAVEN In February, EUROGATE and APM Terminals, a subsidiary of A.P. Moller–Maersk, announced that they were in advanced negotiations for a long-term partnership. As part of this partnership, around one billion euros is to be invested in the modernization of the joint container terminal North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven (NTB). According to the partners, the terminal will be the first of its kind in Germany to achieve zero greenhouse gas emissions in the future through the complete electrification of its handling operations and the use of renewable energy.
