“Hafen trifft Festland” celebrates its anniversary in Prague

19.06.2026

WILHELMSHAVEN / PRAGUE For more than ten years, JadeWeserPort has been highlighting the advantages of Germany’s only deep-water container port at various venues as part of the “Hafen trifft Festland” event series. The series celebrated its 50th edition in Prague on 11 June 2026. Around 90 guests from regional logistics and transport companies accepted the invitation from JadeWeserPort and its partners Eurogate and Metrans. Also on board were the shipping line Hapag-Lloyd and the frozen food logistics provider Nordfrost, based at the JadeWeserPort freight village. “The fact that the event has now reached its 50th edition shows just how well it has established itself and continues to grow in popularity year on year,” said André Heim, Director of International Sales at JadeWeserPort Marketing. “The fact that there are always numerous interested parties from the freight forwarding and logistics sectors, even in new ‘Hafen trifft Festland’ regions, underlines the series’ nationwide appeal.”
