BRAKE. The family-owned company is making targeted investments to expand its cargo handling capacities at the Port of Brake, including modern cargo handling equipment and the strengthening of its team.
Sven Riekers (51) has joined the team at J. Müller Weser in Brake. A native of Bremen, he joins the company from a port industry business in Bremen and will strengthen the existing Breakbulk Sales team, which has been led for many years by Jörg Kaplan.
In addition to his role in sales, Riekers has been appointed Head of Logistics and will be responsible for the strategic development of the agency and inland shipping chartering divisions, among other areas. He has also been appointed Managing Director of B-Log GmbH, a joint venture between the L.I.T. Group and J. Müller Weser GmbH & Co. KG.
