KIRCHHEIM UNTER TECK. In February, Mosolf Port Logistics & Services (MPLS) took over a terminal in the port of Ostend. It covers around 80,000 square metres with capacity for up to 3,000 vehicle parking spaces.

EMDEN/DÖRPEN. On the initiative of CDU state parliament member Hartmut Moorkamp, the “Emden-Dörpen Port Dialogue” was launched in February. Representatives from both ports met with politicians and administrators in Dörpen.

BREMERHAVEN. In February, EUROGATE and APM Terminals, a subsidiary of A.P. Moller–Maersk, announced that they were in advanced negotiations for a long-term partnership.

BREMERHAVEN. With a symbolic ‘first pile driven,’ construction officially began on the new north pier in February. This marks the start of work on the Bremerhaven structure, which was damaged in an accident in 2022.
