Roadshow launched in Shanghai

20.04.2026

WILHELMSHAVEN. In April and May, the “2026 Wilhelmshaven China Roadshow” will tour China, led by the EUROGATE Group and Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven JadeWeserPort-Marketing GmbH. At stops in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Qingdao, Ningbo and Yiwu, it will showcase Germany’s only deep-water port, the JadeWeserPort, with the support of the Shanghai International Port Group and more than 250 representatives from shipping lines, logistics companies and shippers. At the launch in Shanghai, Marc-Oliver Hauswald, Managing Director of Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven JadeWeserPort-Marketing, said: “We are firmly convinced that there is enormous potential for cooperation between Shanghai and Wilhelmshaven. We look forward to working with port, shipping and logistics companies, as well as partners from all sectors in Shanghai, to explore how we can combine Wilhelmshaven’s deep-water advantages and its efficient rail hinterland network with the extensive shipping routes and high cargo volumes of the Port of Shanghai. Together, we can optimise the Asia-Europe supply chain and offer our customers more stable and efficient solutions.”
