BREMEN. Despite geopolitical crises, a weakening German economy and ongoing uncertainties in global trade, the BLG Logistics Group has closed its 2025 financial year on a stable note.
Röhlig Logistics grows against the trend

BREMEN. According to Röhlig Logistics, its sales, freight volume and gross profit have all risen. In February, the logistics company recorded a five per cent rise in its gross profit, up from 218 million euros in 2023 to 229 million euros in 2024. Besides the core markets of China and USA, Australia and Mexico contributed in particular to this growth. “In spite of an ongoing challenging market environment, we again achieved a strong result in the 2024 financial year with 17.5 million euros EBIT,” stated Philip W. Herwig, Managing Partner at Röhlig Logistics.

Bremerhaven sets an example for green shipping
BREMERHAVEN. Together with the Port of Antwerp and the South Korean Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Corporation, Bremerhaven took a step towards low-emission shipping in April. At the “International Green RoRo Shipping Corridor and Decarbonisation Workshop” in Bremerhaven, the partners issued a joint statement announcing the launch of a green shipping corridor.
