Who’s up for “Waterkant Nordenham”?

BRAKE. In December, NPorts and the town of Nordenham launched a joint expression-of-interest procedure to explore the future use of the Großen¬siel port area. Under the project name “Waterkant Nordenham”, the roughly 12-hectare site in southern Nordenham – once an important transshipment hub for general and bulk cargo – is to be transformed into a modern residential and leisure district featuring gastronomy, hotels, tourism services and selected commercial uses. “The location directly on the Weser offers great potential for a district development that will enrich our city’s residential and leisure offering,” said Nils Siemen, Mayor of Nordenham.
