ZDS President in Dialogue with Niedersachsen’s Port Industry

OLDENBURG. Last week, ZDS President Prof. Dr. Sebastian Jürgens visited the Seaports of Niedersachsen and engaged in direct discussions with representatives of the port industry. The focus was on the expertise and positive developments of the Lower Saxony Ports network with its nine locations, as well as key structural challenges. During site visits in Brake, Cuxhaven, Emden and Papenburg, the ZDS President gained numerous insights into the work of local port companies. Prof. Dr. Sebastian Jürgens reiterated his calls for fair competitive conditions, reduced bureaucracy and stronger federal participation in port infrastructure.
