Historic Columbus Cruise Centre to be REVITALISED

28.09.2023
BREMERHAVEN. Thousands embarked on their voyages from the Columbus Cruise Centre, as did emigrants hoping for a better future. However, the middle section, built between 1958 and 1962, has stood vacant for years. The architectural services company gmp International won the tender for the revitalisation of this section in August. Besides being used as a cruise centre with baggage handling and office space, other uses might include art and cultural events to hotel, food and beverage outlets as well as conference and event facilities.
