Rhenus and Cosco sign MoU

01.07.2026

HOLZWICKEDE/CUXHAVEN The Rhenus Group and Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in June 2026 to enter into a strategic partnership at Rhenus Cuxport’s site in Cuxhaven. The aim of the agreement is to combine Rhenus’s port expertise with Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers’ shipping expertise. “Our strategic partnership is based on our shared ambition to be able to respond even more quickly and precisely to customer needs in future. By combining our expertise in project cargo, heavy lift and specialised transport with our partner’s broadly diversified fleet, we will expand route connections and terminal capacities sustainably in the long term,” says Andreas Stöckli, a member of the Rhenus Group’s Executive Board.
