Alexander Global Logistics opens new logistics centre

20.08.2026

BREMERHAVEN On 20 August, Alexander Global Logistics opened its new logistics centre in Bremerhaven. The logistics company invested around 20 million euros in the property, which will enable it to expand its capacity for pulp, paper and forestry products. The new logistics centre comprises 20,000 m² of warehouse space and a 13,000 m² heavy-duty area for container and reach stacker handling. The site is located just 1.5 kilometres from the Bremerhaven container terminal and has a direct rail link. “With this new building, we are making a targeted investment in quality, digitalisation and sustainable logistics. At the same time, we are strengthening Bremerhaven as a logistics hub and creating additional capacity for our international customers,” said Carsten Hellmers, Managing Director of Alexander Global Logistics.
