Rhenus and shipzero enter into a strategic partnership

20.08.2026

HOLZWICKEDE The Rhenus Group and shipzero announced their strategic partnership in August. Through this collaboration with the emissions platform, Rhenus can now offer its customers access to a ‘book-and-claim’ solution designed to reduce the climate impact of global transport operations. This solution encompasses alternative fuels and can be applied to battery-electric vehicles in air, sea and road transport. As Rhenus, a logistics service provider, states that it is heavily reliant on external transport capacity, it has introduced ‘Book and Claim’ “to reduce the climate impact of transport emissions in areas where Rhenus has no influence over the underlying assets.”
