EMDEN epas (Ems Ports Agency & Stevedoring) announced in October 2026 that it had won the tender issued by EnBW Erneuerbare Operation & Service for port and warehousing logistics services for its offshore wind farms in the North Sea. The scope of work covers the three offshore wind farms: ‘Hohe See’, with a total installed capacity of 497 megawatts; ‘Albatros’, with 112 megawatts; and the ‘He Dreiht’ offshore wind farm, which was commissioned this year. With a total of 64 wind turbines and an installed capacity of 960 megawatts, “He Dreiht” is currently Germany’s largest offshore wind farm. According to epas, this contract represents a special recognition of its many years of experience and expertise in offshore and port logistics, and underlines the strategic importance of the port of Emden.
