Stade, 13th September 2021 | Great potential: Stade can become a game changer of the German energy transition – thanks to its strong industry, short distances and a planned terminal for liquefied gases!

VERBIO boss Claus Sauter emphasizes the importance of a terminal for liquefied green gases in Germany. Member of the Bundestag Oliver Grundmann and CDU economic expert Friedrich Merz underline the potential of a new bioenergy region on the Lower Elbe. Claus Sauter: “German climate targets can only be achieved with more biomethane and modern infrastructure!” Niedersachsen’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Dr. Althusmann: “Import of climate-neutral gases is an important building block for a secure and affordable energy supply!” Oliver Grundmann, Member of the Bundestag: “The Elbe-Weser area has the potential to become a game changer for the German energy transition!” Friedrich Merz: “We got out enough. Now we have to get in – especially with economically viable solutions. The VERBIO technology and the infrastructure in Stade come at exactly the right time.”
