CUXHAVEN. bremenports has secured a compensation area in the Geesten lowlands near Ringstedt through a contract with the nature conservation foundation of the district of Cuxhaven.

EMDEN. Emden. June saw the appointment of Christoph Kolter to the role of manager of the port office in Emden, the central contact point for shipowners, customers and service providers.

BREMERHAVEN. On behalf of bremenports, heavy-goods operator Kübler removed 28 railway wagons from Columbus Island by road in May.

BREMEN. Bremen‘s Senator for Science and Ports, Dr Claudia Schilling, launched the dialogue process for the further development of Bremen‘s port concept with a digital kick-off event in May.

EMDEN. About two years ago, NPorts implemented an innovative lighting concept for railway tracks in the port of Emden.

OLDENBURG. Since the beginning of May, seagoing and inland vessels on the Hunte near Oldenburg have been benefiting from a new high-performance turning facility.

WILHELMSHAVEN. After NORDFROST inaugurated the rail connection at its seaport terminal in the container port of Wilhelmshaven in June 2021, a direct train coming from China is now in process. This is linked to the hope that the con-tainer port of Wilhelmshaven will be firmly integrated into the “One Belt – One Road” initiative, the so-called New Silk Road.

BREMEN. On July 1, 2021, Karl Gross congratulated his Managing Director, Martin Kollmann, on 25 years of service with the traditional logistics company.

BREMEN. Heavy equipment in use: Extensive work will be carried out on the tracks at the entrance to the Imsumer Deich port station in the coming weeks.

Wilhelmshaven. In the middle of the week, the new NORDFROST railway system, which connects the company’s seaport terminal with the public rail network, was inaugurated for the first time within a small circle. Combined transports are now available for all types of goods, which further increases the attractiveness of the Wilhelmshaven container port.

BREMEN. Since May 1, Oliver Meng has been appointed as an additional managing director of Addicks & Kreye Container Logistik GmbH & Co. KG and Wilhelm Müller GmbH & Co. KG have been appointed. Both companies belong to the Addicks & Kreye group of companies, which combines several service companies in the fields of container loading and unloading, service & depot, logistics and cargo control.
