BREMEN. In October, the first pile was driven into the ground for the new 230-metre long quay for heavy cargo in “Kalihafen”, the industrial port of Bremen.

HAMBURG. In December, Angela Titzrath, President of the Association of German Seaport Operators (ZDS), informed the German government in no uncertain terms that the states will need 500 million euros annually to ensure basic funding for the German seaports in the future.
